It’s been quite the intense month, and I’m more than ready to embrace the fun that February brings. Hello, Valentine’s Day and football! Meanwhile on the home front, I’ve been in full hibernation mode wrapping up the cookbook manuscript. It’s been so much fun to watch this concept come to life. Next up: the photoshoot and book design — easily my favorite part! This time around, the process has been a bit different. For my first two cookbooks, I took it upon myself to food style and photograph (using my iPhone lol) the recipes at my kitchen table in my Brooklyn apartment. While I loved the freedom of working at my own pace, I did feel exhausted by the end.

Now as I enter my sixth year of cheese entrepreneurship, I’ve been learning to let go of control and embrace collaboration. Working with a team has not only made things more efficient, but also sparked more creativity and pushed me to think outside the box. This book will still have all essence of That Cheese Plate, but it’s shaping up to be an elevated evolution of what we’ve built so far. I’ll share more as we get closer, but I’m so grateful to have you here for the journey!
